Performed general laboratory duties for researcher working on cure for Myasthenia Gravis. Research centered mainly on binding of antibodies to acetylcholine receptors and used column affinity chromatography with neurotoxins as protein binding agent. Prepared buffer solutions for chromatography, performed radiation assays of bound receptors, recorded and reported on experimental results. Also collected receptor proteins from electric eels and fishes.

Since primary investigator, Dr. Hai Won Chang, was not a native speaker of English, aided in writing and editing research grant proposals and papers for scientific publications such as the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences.
