Performed object modeling and analysis and design work for clients using VisualWorks and VisualSmalltalk programming environments as member of ObjectShare consulting staff. Led client development projects while teaching and mentoring clients on above topics as well as use-case analysis, UML, and the use of design tools such as TogetherSoft.

Performed design review on Java project for the State of Wisconsin, mentoring third-party programmers on object modeling, use cases, and UML. Led Wisconsin DOT personnel through exercise of identifying Use Cases. Other clients served included the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (training client programmers in object-oriented technology while leading them through performing analysis and design on domain model) AstraZeneca Corp. (examining third-party Smalltalk source code and recommending design changes to correct problems in drug-trial tracking software) and Bell Atlantic (management duties, some coding on mainframe-based billing application). For Bell Atlantic, improved front-end performance ten-fold simply by reducing redundant retrieval of data from mainframe database (DB2).

Taught introductory Smalltalk course. Also served client coding web site that accessed Oracle database.
